The "Hugging Chair" is an early example of the use of bent plywood, where the wooden back wraps the body and sits at just the right spot to rest your elbows, like a built in armrest reminiscent of the Greek Klismos chair. Original dark stain on beech wood, with a forest green lacquered seat and inside back. There are many imperfections to these chairs, but in such a
