2023 Chateau Le Roc Bordeaux Blanc Saumur Champigny violets and smoked black teaThis citrus driven blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Muscadelle is fresh on the palate and is a charming pre main course treat. Fermented in tank, clocking in at a modest 11% abv, this is the sort of Atlantic coast white youd hope to enjoy with a platter of fried calamari. Green gold in the glass, with notes of white grapefruit and a thread of salinity on the palate. A terrific value!
