This unusual oval shaped brooch is decorated with a delicate etching of a bird, some foliage and a pattern in one corner. In the centre of the brooch there is a cartouche originally intended for an initial. The brooch fastens with an open c clasp and is in excellent condition, measuring 4. 5cm 1. 7" in length and 2cm 0. 6" in width.
